there are currently no current reviews with honest feedback on the 3 mentioned. a lot of us have sponsors but try and put that aside and reply with honesty based on experience! I have used most of it, but honestly like the p line flouoroclear. dual purpose with mono. characteristics, but virtually invisible as fluorocarbon at a much lower price than trilene fluorocarbon and BPS fluorocarbon which I both like. On the mono. side I prefer trilene XL. Now the real question, can we eliminate mono. and fluorocarbon with the fluorocarbon coated lines?

okay here's my take on this from my own experience okay. Flourocarbon lines have pure flourocarbon fibers and therefore are the most sensitive and very abrasion resistance as well as possessing the ability to sink. Now onto flourocarbon coated lines. They have the abrasion resistance property of flourocarbon but it's not as sensitive as a pure flourocarbon line and flourocarbon coated lines don't sink. These are usually found in your copolymer lines like yo-zuri hybrid for example. Last of all is mono, it's the best casting line out there. Very smooth and limp. Sensitivity isn't all that. Fails in comparison to copolymer and every other line. Plus it's not abrasion resistant and floats. Hope this helps you.

I eliminated mono and fluorocarbon several years ago by going to P-line CX Premium. I like the clear/blue flourescent color because I can see it better than clear. Fluorocarbon coated line gives me all I need with low under water visibility, high above water visibility, good handling, and sufficient sensitivity, abrasion resistance, toughness and knot strength for what I do.

In memory of my childhood friend Dan Sterling, who taught me at an early age how to catch bream with a hand-line, and who unknowingly hooked me on fishing for life.

There is a definite difference between flourocarbon and flourocarbon coated lines. I've seen them both in water and its easy to tell which one is which. I use P Line a bunch but I use Berkley 100 percent when I'm wanting flourocarbon.

I like P-line CX and CXX cofilament lines, 100% fluorocarbon, and Halo.
McCoys is also a good cofilament line
Invizx is another good fluorocarbon.

Those are the only lines I need for all around fishing.

I do use braid for some applications when it is better to use than either fluorocarbon or mono/cofilament lines.

I can't answer your last question because I have never used a fluorocarbon coated line like fluoroclear.

Here is a link to tackle tour.com. it gives in depth reviews of all types of fishing tackle. should give you plenty of information to help you decide what line or lines to use.

good luck

My son and I use Seguar Carbon Pro. We love it. Found nothing to compare. Tried invizx and think its junk. Carbon Pro is discontinued. Any suggestions?

With 15lb invisix I got a hangup this summer. Trying to break it off holding the spool, pointing the rod right at it, TM on high the opposite way. Guess what broke, the brand new bait!!(specifically the hook)I've been nothing but impressed by the invisix product.

I used to use Carbon Pro but really didn't like the white chalky look and feel it had. I switched to P-line 100% and have not bought another spool of Carbon Pro sense then. I use Halo when Im not so concerned with a little memory but want a very strong line.

I like the P-Line 100% better than the Berkley 100% also.

What did you not like about Invizx? You are the first I have ever heard of to not like Invizx.
