Possibly going to rent out my house. Its an older pier and beam house, 2 bed room, 1050 square feet and it actually has a commercial A/C unit with heat strips. Air flows from the outside side, under the house, up a shoot and then through attic ducts. Theres ALOT of loss in the transition. There are some 3500+ installed new full units on Craigs list. Just wondering some opinions on options. The house has vaulted cielings so there isnt alot of attic room. It would take years to get the cost back on the upgrade but I think it would rent better.

check out mini split units... they are way efficient and ductless so you wouldn't have to worry about those vaulted ceilings and where ducts can and cant go
