Launched at the 830 ramp and started fishing around 10:30 AM. Trolled around the light house and bird island didn't get any bites. Headed to 1097 bridge. Fished around the rocks with no luck. Fished with Money Minnows and fresh shrimp. We tried under the bridge and had no luck. Finally we drift fished from the bridge north. We caught one 23" blue cat on shrimp. She was either carrying eggs or was really full of something. I put her back.
Trolled all the way back to the boat ramp and had no bites. The boat ride was nice but the fishing could be better. No complaints though.
