Limits on fish only apply to public waters both size and numbers. This particular lake is being drawn down for maintenance and has too many fish in it currently. I'm just doing my part to reduce the population to a sustainable level as the lake gets smaller. So far the fish are healthy and fat but that will change quickly if we don't remove enough and they eat themselves out of house and home. I've moved about 60 bass to another lake on the property and will continue to do so.
