I went to a popular bank fishing spot in Plano yesterday and found a pretty good concentration of bass. From 1:00 to a little before 5:00 I caught a total of 9 fish, should have caught 11. But the bright spot of the day was the 20 inch 6.5 lber. I caught. She was fat and heavy. It really made my day. I wish I had had a camera with me cause she was really pretty.

Caught on a t-rig baby brush hog, watermelon red. Also caught fish on spinnerbait, weightless Fluke, and t-rig Super Hog, watermelon (with tail dipped in chartreuse).

Yeah, that pond off Preston.

They had the dredger going on Saturday. I wish they'd finish that up.

Are you talking above or below Legacy?

Below Legacy, but above Tennyson, above the levee. The YMCA soccer fields are on the west and the bank is on the east.

Never could find a good spot to park in that area to fish those ponds/creek. Wanted to do some carp fishing.

Sounds like you had a great time!

Has anyone had any trouble parking behind the bank building during business hours?

Starless, I saw several carp rolling on the surface right as I was leaving. I thought it was a little early in the year for that but I guess with the weather we've had, anything's possible.

onebigfish, I've never tried during business hours before. It probably depends on how full the parking lot is..

Yeah, I've heard there are some nice carp in there! I'd love to get out there and catch them sometime. I just don't know where I can legally park and walk to fish or anything.
