Wish I knew how to fly fish the hole should be a great place to fly fish,and about the tube thing have a friend who used to go out tube fishing there and said it's great and the water stay's preety cool year round, and how bout this saturday morning?

No promises, but I'll try. Hmmmm, if it doesn't rain, maybe we could wrestle the "Minnow Bucket" down to the water?

Update 3:30 - Just got back. Slow bite during mid-day. Lost a few bass talking on my cell phone. Caught a few of the obligatory perch. Night time so far seems to be the right time. Have got to see what early morning is like.

Yea orn sounds like deal,and redneck in 20+ yrs of fishing the blue I ain't never fished fer blues or any other cats guess when I was just a small cat meself i did'nt really have the patience to catfish,all I acn really say is once or twice i've seen fish that looked like they coulda been cats and heard stories out people catching them .SO maybe you could be the pioneer on this subject good luck and keep us posted.

Oh, I've asked everyone...wonder who has the answer on the cats...I've tried a couple of times with no luck...I know they're in there...we may have to call the experts...let me see if Danny King is available...

Lucky!!! GUESS WHAT!!! Judy caught a baby CAT last night by the contruction site. There has to be a mommy and daddy in there somewhere. I talked to one of the guys at the construction site the other day. He said the guy that owns that spot owns part of the lake too. He called him an a$$hole. I hope our days aren't numbered behind the apartments. Guess I will start looking to buy sulphur in bulk. There were quite a few people there this time too. We left a little after 10. Oh yeah, what's Danny's #?

Went this evening and it was real slow until the sun went down. Then they started hitting real good on plastic worms fished real slow. Good luck to you guys, maybe I'll see you there if I can make it.

Bugggywhip and I were there this morning. Bank fished and didn't do as well as last time, but no skunks. I think I caught 6 bass, and 2 bluegill, and I know Bugggywhip did better still. I used Maxi-Deet and still picked up a few chiggers.
Apparently one of Waxahachie's finest is a lurker here. He spoke to Bugggy before I arrived, and said not to put the boat in. He had read our earlier posts and knew we would be there. I honored his wishes, and left the boat on the trailer, but I wish I could have spoken to him before he left.
