Hey guys, I'm looking at buying a rod for deep cranking.
I'm down to 3 and wanted to see if u guys had any reviews on these 3.

Fenwick 7'3 crankshaft
Duckett 7'11 crankin rid
Custom angle 7'6 spiral wrap

Any thoughts would be good.

Thanks

I use the Fenwick 7'3" Crankshaft...awesome rod for deep cranks. Very sensitive!

Not exactly what I said and taken a little out of context. When talking about building rods you have to be careful with what you say. Friends and family give me a hard time about that all the time. smile

I have two Custom Angle Hot Rods and love them. Wrap helps with fatigue fighting the DD's all day. You can get exact lenght, handle type/length, and so on. Best money I've ever spent switching to their rods.

I know this rod didn't make the cut but the TKVD Launcher is the best deep cranking rod on the market, IMO of course. But why not go with the best cranking stick made by AND USED BY the BEST in the WORLD at offshore cranking. Or at crankbait fishing period. They are Affordable too...comparatively speaking. Of course I think you get what you pay for in the fishing industry but that is another topic
