That's definately a "Every Ignorant Redneck Would Kill it For No Reason" snake. Aka an Eastern Cottonmouth. Than I guess Iam a ignorant redneck!!! If I took the pic he would be under my oar after being beat with it.

Oh thats easy, its a young waterconda Anamambamosican, they do make great pets, this one looks like its trained to, see how it has its mouth open, they do that when they have something stuck in their throat. You need to reach in there and get it out for him since they can't do it themselves
It was for sure trained....The open mouth was him getting ready for chowtime

I see so many people get it wrong when determining the difference between mocccasin and water snake, but most of you have it right on this one. Definately MR. Cottonmouth! Even if the fangs aren't to clear, that body gives it away.

Cool pic. I'm curious, though. How old is this picture? And where was it taken?

Biden famously said in the New York Observer, “I mean, you got the first mainstream African-American who is articulate and bright and clean and a nice-looking guy. I mean, that’s a storybook, man.”
