so the water seperator should remain low so if its full that means that it is full with water and eventualy it will flow into with the fuel into the motor

i am new to this water seperator and i am not trying to spend alot of mny like at did 6 moths ago

i spend 800 + and now the boat is bogging down on me again - i hate to have the same problem i only took it to the lake twice then it sat all this time

6 months ago did a full tune up reclean the carbuartor and installed new fuel line with water seperator

now what.... this is so fustrating tomorrow noon i will take a look at the jar with fuel in it and see how it looks once done with that i will remove all the fuel and replace it with new fuel - hope to get good results outa doing this

once again thanks a mil for all ur help and answers

Buy your fuel elsewhere. Sometimes it helps. But ethanol laced fuel is going to suck water out of the air anyway.

Heet, is actualy a methanol, not that carp ethonal stuff..
Heet is used often up North to keep things from not freezing, in all types of motors when its so dang #$@$#$ cold.

Check this first...real simple....if you have one and if you haven't already.!!! My gas cap has a vent screw. If it isn't open the engine will starve for gas after a while and bog down..Usually when I'm through for the day or know my boat will be sitting I close it. Then, because of my CRS I forget to open it again...

Good Luck

Like Keith said

I use this combination everytime I fill up and have had zero problems (99 Merc 225 EFI)
-1oz Marine Stabil or Mercury QuickCare per 6 gallons fuel
-1oz Quickleen per 6 gallons fuel
-1-2oz SeaFoam per 6 gallons fuel

Boatless for minute
