the bridge at Centerville? Centerville never crosses the creek does it? You talking about up from the bike trails but south of the bridge at Northeast Pkwy? From what I recall, only briges are at Miller Rd, Hwy 66, and then up at Northeast Pkwy(rowlett rd) until you get up on the other side of Northeast Pkwy and head up to the gun range area in there. Tarpon - you were at the bridge off on Northeast but fishing back south of there? Any one done any good yet up to the gun range area, or are they still making their way up there slowly but surely. Would like to get out, but dont want to be with a bunch of illegals, although busting 'em with the warden would be a good treat for an afternoon!

I just wanted to say 'Thanks' for making that call. It really ticks me off when I see undersized fish being kept. Good job!

Thanks so much to tarponfly for teaching me how to catch sandies, btw alex, limited out on sandies almost limited out 20 minutes after u left, lost my bobber on fish number 25 frown

20 anything that looks like a minnow works for me.I drag it along the bottom and have pretty good luck.

Bait I used: ZOOM tiny flake BAIT FISH (soft plastic/ 20 per package- 2 inches long.

Line: 6 lb mono (dont use braided line lol turbo)

Bobber: COMEL TACKEL / inch long slip bobber orange and white

went out to the gun range and showed turbo how to catch sandies. i limited out in about 30-45 mins. all fish kept were over 15 inches long. they are pretty big this year.my day off it thursday so i hope it does not rain to hard on me.
i took a picture of the guys i called in on. as soon as i can ill post it.

you cant see who they are they are to far away. all you can see is the wardens and some guy sittin down.....no faces.
they post child molesters/ why not fish offenders- its the same thing in my book. flag

Tarponfly, post them, I think that's acutally a good idea for them to be recognized. I had a gun pulled on me 3 years ago for telling a group of them not to use a net...

got to the gun range at 8 10 am today and left with my limit at 8 52 am. all on jigs. cheers

went to the dreek the last 3 days left with limit all 3 days caught a fish almost every cast its on there hitting white rooster tails and blue and white little fishies
