well, i don't know that i'd call it a 'dam' per-say; it's more like a low, concrete speed bump that spans the width of the creek.

while it doesn't impede the flow, there is debris caught on it (e.g., branches, leaves, etc.). i saw sandies jumping/wiggling their way up the creek...but i suppose it's possible some of the smaller sandies might give up & head back south.

noone probably noticed the 'speed bump' before because the creek hasn't been this low for a long time.

who_knows

So there were a pile of guys last night right south of the dam with stringers, but the fish were very finicky last night with their bite - probably due to the storm. Anyone going today? it should be raining later on as well.

What jigs are you guys using?

went yesterday caught 22 keepers all over 13 inches....lots of yellow bass this year. using small crank baits/and jigs. i was out fishing the orientals that had shiners. funny stuff. the creek will be muddied up and that will shut them down till the rain stops and then the water has to clear up a little.
