I stopped by the gun range for about an hour after work today and caught only 1 small sandbass on crank bait. I guess the run has not started yet here.

damn rain.........had the day off. but i dont want to be slippin all over the bank today. guess ill go monday or tuesday. this rain will muddy it up for a couple of days, but i bet they will run up the creek this week....they are already late. they started in the beggining of feb last year. so like HB22 says i think its time also. +++++ went fishin 2/20/06 and caught 4 in 2 hours.....all keepers all on a crank- all are still swimmin free......i still have fish in the freezer.

I was below the Rowlett Bridge at 5-9am this morning. One bite, saw two jump. Not sure if I wasted time before dawn, anyone with luck in the dark AM? At least I got to wear my head-strap nerd LED "forehead-flashlight". Hands free, got to love it.

got to drunk last night-hung over...so ill go tommorow(weds.) Northwest- when they are runnin in full swing you can catch them all night and all day in the creek. does not matter what time of day it is. if they are in the creek you will catch some.

the creek is back down (it was a raging river last weekend). no jumping. no bites (for me or anyone else fishing nearby).
