Bing maps is awesome, the rotation feature uncovers some very good hiding spots for this elusive green backs.

For some reason the street level view will not work on Monti. Was looking at another lake the other day and could actually see under the bridge

Monti's ramp is the pic I linked.
My son told me about it. I had always used Google Maps but not anymore! Detail is great.

It is really no different for the lakes I fish....atually google appears to be clearer with the 3d version as far as seeing contours.

I use both and check them aginst each other for dates when the lakes were the lowest.
Bass fishing is like a 30,000 acre golf course with no flags and five holes you can't see- Tim

It's nice for you DFW guys but most of the south and centeral Texas lakes I fish aren't as good of quality as google.

I use both and check them aginst each other for dates when the lakes were the lowest. There are a couple of other map/satelite sites that have more options. One is Acme Mapper( http://mapper.acme.com/) the other is the freeware google earth. Both give GPS coordinates where ever you place the mouse pointer. Google Earth also has the option of changing dates of the viewable photos. Example is in the 2001-2003 time frame Amistad was about 40 feet low. you can see the lake when it was that low and you can see and get GPS coordinates on places that are under water now.
