Any day Cliff has available. FI Seriously though, the lake is loaded with fish so any time is good. Less crowed in the cooler months sometimes.
I'm a humble fisherman in the service of our Lord. Started fishin at 5 years old and can't stop. I've owned a boat every day from age 16. I fish for every type of fish in every different way.

Ya FI is right, any time is good, but I prefer weekdays and the winter when there is less of a crowd.

Awww schucks.
Thanks guys. All the credit goes to Marv. I swear you could fish in a mud puddle and catch cats with his bait.
El Compadre, here is part of my post from 14 Jan.
We fish on the point between the two boat ramps. We either fish all the way down to the end and fish from just from the left side. If you were standing down there, turned and faced the bouy and think about a clock we fish from about the the 11 to 2 o'clock position. we cast as far out as we can and let it sink to bottom.
The other spot is about halfway down the point on the other side. there is a high bank in front of the bouys. we fish just about the entire width with the best spot about 20 yards to the right all the way to about 75 yards to the left of the bouy. Again, we cast as far as we can and fish the bottom. We're lazy so this type of fishing suits us best.
helpful tip, if you fish the spot halfway down, when you hook a fish (or just reeling in) you will want to get the fish or your hook up off bottom (try to get it to top quick) as you reel in. there are rocks/stumps or something that is easily caught. We have lost too many fish when we hit those "snags". I think the fish do it on purpose, but that's just me.
Some additional info I forgot.
If the winds are out of the SE through the North/NE, the end has produced best for us.
From NE to SE the spot mid way down the point.
I will say though that we put in the hours to catch the fish. We will fish the bank from 8ish am to 5ish pm. We miss a whole lot more than we catch too, just the way it is fishing on bottom.
Good luck. If you see us out there (silverish chevy colorado Z-71 4x4 crew cab, DV plates), stop by.
