I wonder how that horse would really do, riding down in those rocks like that? There are special horseshoes for that aren't there?

It would sure be handy to have a pony to ride in to a fishing spot instead of having to hike in.

Are there local regulations about equine access to fishing spots?

I bet it would be hard to cast while riding. We could have a casting from horseback contest! Who has a horse?

Those are nice batwings she's a'wearin'. However, with the rest of her rig, the brush is going to be like the spikes in a parking lot: fine going forward, but rough on you going backwards. Not to mention it's going to take those chaps forever to dry. smile

Also, she's just asking for broken reins letting them dangle like that. At least she's keeping her ears out of the sun... smile

All you "Cowboys" lighten up on the girl.....BTW, all my horses have walked down creek bottoms with no problem...just have to pay attention and not put them in a bind.....

PS...I have roped a steer or two....

BTW Russell...looks like you did a great job setting up Al Crise day....see you there..

I'll be going back to Montana in April-I've been gone 25 years. Rock Creek, to be exact. Don't think she'll be there.
