Bass - It's come to most peoples attention now that any Sunday stockings actually get done a few days before and the real date is kept secret usually for kid's fishing days.

Yup the way TP&W runs is pretty rough. I remember them not hitting the posted dates, they were both early and late in some cases. Nope, I heard as early as Thursday. Was there catching trout with those in the know on the 22th. Wouldn't put too much stock (pun) into those dates. Call the fishery to double check.

Headed to River Park for some more big ones. Went Saturday and did real well on gold or silver super dupers!

Anyone know if Bear Creek has been fished out yet? I was thinking of taking my little girl up there to see if she can land her first fish.

anybody ever gone to kidd springs park theyre stocking it tomorrow. i got me some of that power bait should i wait a couple a days first and try some lures

Bring the lure in low and slow right above the bottom. After a couple of day all you will be able to catch them on with any frequency is trout dough or corn.

I went to Lakeside today in Duncanville and only got 2 little ones. They were hitting all over the place, but were not hitting the dough bait. And as it turned out, I had left my box of lures there yesterday, and my buddy that picked the box up, didn't show today.

caught at least 20 trout today. they stocked big ones. all catch and release on small silver super duper. had a great time down here for a week. this pic was the 2nd biggest i caught today. this morning when i ddidnt have my camera i caught a huge palomino trout which look yellow and white.over 23 inches and the fattest trout i ever caught but no pic oh well. caught out in front of rio raft. i have a size 13 shoe
