yes, i had one for a few years and then quit, i started it up this year. It is really helpful to look back when something worked, where and what the temp was

I've got one running in an excel spreadsheet. Seems like it'll be helpful down the road.

Yeah, Barrett... I've kept a file on the comp since last year....just write down everything you remember after your day of fishing.... This year is when i'll finally be able to get to use my info from last year....

definatly, i try to keep one every year with times conditions bait used and where i was on a lake

I think I need to start keeping one this year. The ones that use excel do any of you have a sample layout you use? I would be interested in creating one as well.

I list water body, date, weather (barometric pressure, clouds, wind etc), water condition (temp, color, lake level etc), best pattern, what I used and how many fish were caught with each lure. Also make little notes at the end summing up any special things that seemed to make a difference that day.

It can be as anal-detailed or as simple as you want it to be.

I started one but its still blank!!!!!!
