If you had an extra YAK i would go! But then again I think theres another frontal coming in Thursday to put a damper on the temps for this weekend Thursday: Mostly cloudy with a 20% chance of showers. High 59. Winds SW 5-15 mph in the morning becoming NW 10-25 mph in the afternoon
That came from KBTX.com Yea It looks like it might not be the best as far as wind. Once I get in the creeks I'll be better off!

Raider, that is still the only option at this point, however TPWD has removed four log jams from the bridge downstream and they still have two more to remove before they can open a new paddling trail that is in the works. If the trail goes as planned you will be able to launch near the bridge at Newman's parking lot.

Kudos in advance to them if this is true.

This is a photo of TPWD removing the log jams just below the Newman Bottom Bridge on Friday, Jan. 14th. Believe it, Dmcputtz! As bass related stated, there a few log jams remaining down-streamthat they havent got to yet. [img:center]http://images3a.snapfish.com/232323232%7Ffp733%3A5%3Enu%3D3332%3E8%3B4%3E6%[/img]

Here you go "Yeguainfo" In order to add an image to your message or your signature, you must have the image already available on a web server and reachable by a URL. This can be an image on your own personal web page, for example. To place an image within a message, simply use the following Markup Tag: For example, if you have an image called cateye.gif and its available from your own website at http://www.mywebsite.com/pics, then you would use the following image markup: You can do the same for your signature. Click the My Home option found on any page. Then, under the Main Configuration heading, click on "Personal Information, email, password...". Look for the Signature box, and enter your desired information, including any images/markup as above. Note: To keep the forums loading quickly for everyone, it is recommended that you do not exceed 35k for your image size. *I use the site www.myfishingpictures.com to post pics. You can upload your photos to their site, then all you have to do is paste the link to your photo in your message. You can also check out the "photos & video" section of the forum for help. It's also a good place for testing.

jsinn01, you mean a web server such as snapfish? like the one that my link is uploaded to already?
All I get from your "markup:" link is a red x.
Let me try again http://images3a.snapfish.com/232323232%7Ffp733%3A5%3Enu%3D3332%3E8%3B4%3E6%
evidently theres more to it than simply
"then all you have to do is paste the link to your photo in your message."

Did you ever make it out to Nails, Ryan? Yea Man I went. I got there just as the front did...I drove down the the NCP boat ramp to unload, but decided not to. I just didn't have it in me to unload my Yak and fight that wind all day so I just drove around for a bit. I decided to walk Cedar Creek since it was dry to see if I could load up on some jigs and tackle. Seems like someone beat me to it because I didn't find any tackle. I did manage to sneak up on a bunch of Hogs. They were all kinds of colors and sizes. I was able to take a few shots before they caught wind of me. Heres some pics of the Creek (or lack of) and the hogs. This is some kind of net...Maybe an old Gill net?
