Had a buddy from Dallas call me last week and said he would be driving thru and wanted to get together and go hog hunting today. Told him I would rather go fishing and he asked "Can you catch fish this time of year?" Curly Dawg joined us and it was a good day to be on the water. Didn't find them till the third stop but then it was on. Finished with 15-20 good hybrids and probably 40-50 more magnum sandies and smaller hybrids. CD caught 2 very nice fish but he's impatient and wouldn't wait on the camera. Good trip and definitely more fun than sitting in a blind waiting on pigs.

Did you catch them all dead sticking ?

I guess I will have to burn some gas, I been trying to make those
Chimney creek fish bite.

Lake is now only 2ft low, need a few more rainy days.

Yep they were all caught dead sticking. A couple of guys around us were throwing lures and trolling but did not seem them catching any.
