Just checking to see if anyone on the forum fishes hard for shark. I recently got into surf fishing and have been researching fishin for sharks and cant wait to get back out on the sand. finally got all my gear together. would love to hear about anything to do with shark fishing, any reports or experiences yall have had. also im lookin to get on the sand in march through october as much as possible and would love to meet up with other sharkers to share the sand with.
PS a great source for shark info is the TX-Sharkfishing.com website.

Tight lines to all.

Thats about how long it took me to get approved. Chris deaver the founder of the site will call you and kinda get to know you before approving so as to keep it a close knit group. However I didnt post anything for ten days after getting approved so i got revoked which sucks but there is alot of good info there.

Will start sharking in March.

Started shark fishing alot this last year....if you want to catch sharks non stop u can use a cast net or seine net in the surf to catch mullet...keep them alive and just cut off the tails and launch them out from the 2nd cut, the blood trail they give off drives them crazy.

If you want to catch bigger sharks try using cutbait (stingrays the best)

love me a cownose in the summer on pins for bait. dont forget big jacks and bonita work just as well. but ive used everything from hardheads to rays and it all works at one time or another.
