ok, ive got about 15gallons of chum cooked up right now and plan to use it in lake bastrop for some channels. what i need to know is, because this is a pwr plant lake the water is like 94-96 degrees. how deep should i be spreading out this chum?

I would put it near the water outlet, near some sunken timber, probably 5 feet or less. It's a misconception that catfish seek out deeper water in warm water lakes. I catch them all the time in 1' of water and less in powerplant lakes.
