What's everyone's thoughts on the tourney at Choke Canyon this weekend. I want to commend FLW for going to Choke for this event, this is a really good lake, pretty and has alot of fish. This is a nice lake and it should be an exciting one!

How are all those boats gonna fish on that lake with it being so low and the lake already fishes small?

they have bass champs tourneys with over 200 boats on them, the lake is big enough to handle 150 for the everstart series.

Falcon would have been a much better choice. No facilities at all around choke. Not enough hotels. Rooms are very hard to come by. You have to drive thirty miles to eat, etc. Lake fishes very small. You get on fish, you better not leave them!!

Someone will find them... Good to change it up sometimes!! Should see a few BIG sacks then a bunch struggling!!

From the reports I've gotten from some very good fishermen there prefishing, it's going to be tough!!! They all report having a very tough time just getting 5 fish a day, with no big girls at all!!! Some of them said they had prefishing days without one single bite all day long. The rain Thursday and the cold front Thursday night is going to make it really, really tough!!!

Exactly. Good lake but not enough space and facilities. Enjoy settling down to a warm meal after a long day of fishing at... the Dairy Queen. Yuck.

If those guys can't catch a limit of five fish on Choke then they shouldn't be fishing the tournament. It may be slow but come on, 5 keepers on choke?

They'll be fine. It's only Tuesday and the tournament doesn't start till Thursday. Who wants to win practice anyway? When you whack em in practice and it gets tough, that's when it sucks. But to have practice stink then start figuring them out as the weekend nears, it's gets pretty fun. It may be tough by south texas standards but I promise they will catch them.

I have had my moments on choke... It can happen to the best of us... Especially on that lake...

Im excited about it being on Choke! Probably will be a tough tournament with the weather conditions though. Still think the top couple will have some huge sacks and we ll see the weight drop quite a bit to get a check.

Nice restaurants is not at the top of my list when considering lakes and tournaments.

They will unlock that lake by Thursday no doubt, should be a few huge bags come in, not as many as Falcon but enough.
