 salvaged the day on LL today

Almost missed out on a decent bite at lewisville today, but wound up meeting another TFF'er at the ramp about 2.. Managed a dozen keepers and several throwbacks apiece. Not tearing it up by any means, but a steady bite, and fairly active fish. Minna's were beating my jigs till late, then the jig bite picked up. Felt like had we been there all day, result may have been a lot closer to limits. Shep w post up some pics soon... Only jig color woked today was blue/chart in 1/8oz.

That one scrares the heck out of 2 lbs! Nice toad and nice stringer. To me, that's what this forum should be about- anglers helping anglers because we all have good days and bad days.
Good for whoever it was you met at the ramp.

Crappie_Hook has been helping a beginning crappie fisherman. Thanks for coming out with me! Here is the picture of the bigger one from today. I am still chasing one over 2 lbs, this is pretty close if not my PB.

U aint lacking any fishin ability dude, u forget.. U had that fish in the boat when I got there. U have what it takes (the desire) I'm just fishing w u till you get your confidence up... Then we'll be seeing a few weigh in lines!!!

@Shep, you're catching on very quickly. Congrats. @crappie_hook, nice way to salvage the day. I think alot of football fans are wishin' the teams they cheer for would learn how to salvage the day too  Great post guys. Continued success and safety on the water! Jeff
