Is there an afforable boat launch in Boat Club road side of the lake. Went to Harbour One a couple years back and had to pay fifteen bucks for launch plus my buddie had to pay to park his truck. Was thinking of starting to fish that lake would like some info of where to begin my search for sandies this summer. Any info would be great. Thanks

West Bay marina off of 730 north toward Boyd is $5. The ramp is steep but will handle three boats launching at the same time. Pull up the lake on google earth or purchase a map for @ $7. The boat slips at West Bay hold crappie.

West bay is now 10.00. Shady grove park is free and when the lake is at this level you can load. It is not on the boat club side. Johnny

I noticed they look like they are cutting a road from the Twin Points area, maybe they are finally going to reopen the park. Tarrant regional where suppose to be rebuilding a park and ramp there a couple of years ago.

watch out for the hugh rocks at the shady grove launch. i got to get a new prop now cause of not wanting to pay for the good launch. its not to bad straight in and out but if there is wind and your drifting any you will hit the rocks. Wife hit a few big ones on accident there. Just be careful is all im saying...

There was a big article in the azle paper a couple of weeks ago. about the new twin points. They are putting 15 R.V. sites ,walking trails. The hold up is the boat ramp which they can't put in till the lake is about 10 ft. low.So hope they don't get to put it in anytime soon. Johnny

Fireant not sure when they started this but being a club you must be a member and then you have access to the ramp but as far as just paying a fee to use it i dont think so might want to check on that

You must be a member and that includes the use of the facilities. To become a member another member must sponsor you. It is on the azle side of the lake. But you cannot pay a few to lanuch your boat. Johnny

the membership fee is 45 dollars and 40 if a senior. I did not understand where you came up with the 100 dollar figure. There are some rules to go by and if you don't go by them they will kick you and your sponsor out.I have been a member for several years Johnny
