When will be the best time to go to Lake Fork this spring to catch a trophy sand bass? The big black bass will be done spawning at Squaw Creek before long and I was hoping to catch the spring sand bass spawn at fork after that.

I never thought I'd hear those two things mentioned in the same sentence, Lake Fork and trophy sand bass.

Hopefully never, Hawk. But I did catch some big ones deep a couple years ago schooled up on main lake points/humps.

Hopefully never also, spent several days this summer and fall at fork and was really dissapointed to see the sand bass population and the amount of black bass we caught compared to previous years.Actually, this was directed at Cameron as he likes to take some cheap shots at Squaw. There are so many guys wanting to be a Squaw Creek guide that they are lined up on the side of the road going into Squaw. I think I saw Cameron with a fake beard and he was probably number 200 in line.

Probably wasn't Cameron as he wouldn't stray too far from Fork except on the Internet.

Don't have a wife. She divorced me because she couldn't catch any fish at Fork. Said it was a dead lake. I could relate to the part about Lake Fork being a dead lake but I have no idea what else you are talking about. She didn't mention your name so it probably wasn't a memorable occasion to her. Kind of like doing laundry I suppose.

Fail my life, not sure what that means. Can you clarify since I feel I have had a pretty good life and was fortunate to fish Fork back in the early nineties when the big fish were being caught and you were probably still messing in your diapers.
