Heading to Lake Fork at the end of January. I havent been to Fork since I was 15 and I am 33 now. Needless to say, all I remember is Mustang Bay. Is the Fisherman Inn a nice place to stay? Food? Motel? Slip to keep the boat overnight? I have been told the fishing is pretty good around Williams and Little Mustang so I was hoping to stay around that area in case it gets windy or brutally cold. Any thoughts? Thanks for the help.

Try big mouth lodge. Its located on mustang cove has small cabins that are very reasonable as well as private boat ramp with big pier.

I would definantly check Lake Fork Marina first and see if they have some rooms available. Definantly the best accommodations on the lake and ran by some of the nicest people you will ever meet. And your a stone toss away from the best food on the lake at Tiffanys! (formally Mosers) thumb

Alright...thanks for the help folks...I will check into it. Is it fairly easy to navigate to Mustang or Williams or down around the damn? Will I need to idle most of the way or are there clear paths?

It's all wide open now. All of the stumps fell down years ago and it looks like Cedar Creek now! Just watch out for the sand bars.
