Here is a video I made of my final 2010 trip to Padre Island. We normaly fish falcon but took a little break to let the Zetas cool off. During that time I re-focused my fishing energy into learning to fish the surf. I had a great fall and here is a 10 min video I made of my final trip to the island. Sharks eat any fresh bait from the surrounding surf (just no game fish-illegal) It depends on the conditions. Mother nature rules on the beach 50 miles from pavement. It's hard work and not many guys want to return after I take them. Sometimes we yak out bigger baits but I always fish A few shark baits close. You never know what's lurking it the surf!!
