I think that would put him on the top of my list.

one more vote for Jim Behnken...... he is real versatile and can help u fish to your strengths and catch plenty of fish. He doesnt try to make u fish "his way", he lets u fish your way and just puts u on fish. i really like that. plus he will teach u how to tweek ur techniques and make u better at fishing ur favorite style. But if u want to learn something completely new he can really put u on some nice fish "his way" and make u more versitile as well.

I would just call down to falcon lake tackle and talk to them. They have everyones info and will put you with the right person for what you want to do

Nothing makes a fish bigger than almost being caught

I heard Wayne Taur who owns "The Boat Shop" in Universal City is doing some guiding on Falcon now. I know he has helped me out a lot just cause he felt sorry for me.... does anyone know if he is guiding? I havent been by the shop in a while, but he is a heck of a good guy and fisherman. I fished a tournament earlier this year and had a great practice day on friday but couldnt find my rear with both hands on Saturday. After talking with Wayne and looking at the map with him, I had a real good Sunday. He is a great guy and if he is really guiding now he would really b a good choice, specially if u r a "flipper"!

I did not know there was any other guides besides Charlie? Just kidding, I have not fished with any of them but have heard nothing but positive things about all these guys mentioned.

I have fished with Charlie and Jim Edwards. I had a great time with both. My opinion is that if you just want to go fish and that is it I would go with Charlie. If you want to learn a little more about the lake and why you are fishing a particular spot and need someone with a little more patience then Jim Edwards is the guy. Jim was very educational, Charlie likes to smash. Both are great guides and I will go with which ever one is available the next time I go down there. Whatever choice you make it won't be a bad one.

Thanks everyone for the feedback. I was looking for some alternative options in case Charlie was booked. Fortunately I was able to book Charlie for my trip on the first day.
