Just curious as this will be my first time fishing Basschamps and I have a couple questions. How crazy is the Diablo East Ramp area with 150-200 boats launching, that ramp is a tight son of a gun at the bottom and the parking area is a good hump away. Is there enough truck and trailer parking in the designated areas or are folks going to be parking along the road in and out. I dont think 150-200 trucks will even fit in those parking lots?

Bout the same size smaller parking lot, not nearly as long a walk up to car. Easy boat ride to DE just go under the bridge and look to your right.
Retirement best job ever.

Better check with your tourney director. Often times the Air Force Marina is off limits during a big tourney. It's a call made by the air force to keep their ramp from getting too crowded.

Air Force ramp is much smaller than Diablo. Very limited parking, but, a shorter walk. You need to get there very early to get a parking spot.

If you can launch and travel to Diablo East by water, don't forget Black Brush.

I like Black Brush better than Diablo, you dont have that big hill to walk up and down. Also Black Brush is right around the corner from Diablo East by water. But make sure to stop at the visitors center to get your lake permit, there is no automated machine at Black Brush to give you one.
