Found these on EBay on closeout....Usually 179 bucks. Meets the requirements for what seems to be the inevitable ban of felt on many rivers. I fished with a guide who used them and I was impressed enough that I bought a pair. The rubber/stud combo seems to work ok on slick bottoms....but no guide is going to let you into his boat/raft with 1/4 inch studs on your boots....the ability to change soles lets you adapt to different situations.... I thought some of you might be interested http://shop.ebay.com/?_from=R40&_trksid=m570&_nkw=korkers+guide+wading+boots

I was in Gander Mtn. in Lubbock yesterday. Saw the Korkers on sale there for $69. Came with 2 sets of soles......1 felt and 1 cleated rubber. Good buy, worth checking if you have a Gander's in your area. (You can also order additional soles if needed.) Just FYI.

Good find! I got a pair in the mail. I needed new boots (the soles on mine's rubber is half worn off.

Korkers new boots are the third version of the concept. None of the interchangeable soles work with other generations. They keep changing their design for a reason. I had second gen. and the toe boxes on mine shrunk making the boots useless - causing painful toe pinch. I contacted them and they told me to, "stuff the toes with trash bags and let them dry that way." What the heck, maybe the third version is the charm. Not for me though.
