got them smelly hands from handling fish??? use vinegar and just pour it over your hands and rub them together briskly and most of the smell will be gone....

You sound like one of those fellows who runs to the other end of the boat pinching his nose with his fingers and yelling, peeeuuuuwwwwww when I uncap the sour grain bucket??

I prefer fishing with the guy who runs over and collects a great big nose full, then smiles and says something like, "Nothing I enjoy more than the fragrance of sour grain in the morning."

Any acidy product will work great. My favorite is a bottle of Real Lemon and you can keep a bottle in your boat for occasions when your wife goes fishing with you. My wife will cut her own shad or liver and bait her own hooks but draws the line with DK or Sure Shot. My grandson used my gallon bucket of Sure Shot as a seat once and it squirted out on his pants and almost had to walk home. I thought it was funny.

Has anyone besides me had good thoughtful dogs, when unsupervised momentarily, enjoy eating and or lickin' their stink bait in its container ?

Baby wipes or Mountain Dew will remove the smell easily.
