Ventured out to find some hybrids or sandies about 3:00 today, but couldn't locate them.
So, I idled across the lake (bumped one stump), chummed a tree, and caught 6 catfish from 4:30 - 5:30 pm. 5 blues and 1 channel on SureShot. I caught these in 38 foot deep water, on the bottom, and in the middle of the lake.
Still can't believe all the boats haulin' ace through the stumps! Also can't believe how long the catfish will live during the cooler weather, having come from the cold deep water; even after both slabs of meat were cut from them.

Nice update ofishal, thanks. Can't believe they are still running across that lake at top speeds either. Last time I was out I never had the throttle wide open, and I think I know the lake fairly well. Yeah them cats will live a LONG time out of water in this cold. I remember once putting 3 in the fridge in triple plastic bags and they were alive the next morning as I brought them to a co-worker.
You guys know everything..... I'm just an idiot....no problem........
