I want to share this with my TFF friends because I know how many great folks are on here and this will hit many of you.
While I was at Dallas Market Hall this weekend I was standing by Zell Rowland trying to learn something and I started talking to a guy and his 4 year old son...I have a 5 and a 2 year old so I cant help but talk to all the kids. While talking to this guy he mentioned he and his son had been fishing in Texas for just awhile at a small neighborhood pond in Frisco. I had one of the Black Angel girls go get me an information card to put their name in the drawing for a free Lake Fork Trip. He and I talked for a minute and this guys was really, really nice and looked happy as ever, so the news I was about to find out came as a huge surprise. He mentioned his family had only been in Texas for 2 months and they were from New Mexico. I asked if they moved to Texas because of work and he told me no that his daughter was at Childrens. It took me a minute to realize what "Childrens" was and then it clicked, it was a hospital that was just down the road from Market Hall. I then asked him if he and his son would like to come fishing with me and he said "yes" if we win the drawing, but they would be heading back to New Mexico soon, his daughter was 14 months old and she was on her 25th Chemo treatment. This almost brought me to my knees as this could be any one of us. I had no clue that this man had such a tragedy in his life, his attitude was incredible and so positive. I told him that he would be coming to Lake Fork with his son when they returned from New Mexico for his daughters next Chemo treatment. I also told him that I and everyone I knew would be praying for his family. So that�s where you guys come in. His daughers name was Hailey and she is a beautiful little girl and will be on my mind for awhile. Just mention her to our Lord when you think of it�.Thanks TFF
