I agree about taking responsiblity. I also know how I was raised. My grandfather taught me to take care of the land and water. He also taught me not to take more then I will eat. I know we have seen trotlines that have been left out. Lines are all tangeled and hooks are rusty and you know it hasn't been checked in awhile. We usually take those down. Especially if there is not a name tag on them. We have also seen jugs that had moss growing on them they had been in the water that long. I believe it is our duty to clean stuff like that up. Like if I am walking the shore and can clean up some stuff i usually do. I think as a true sportsman that we sould realize that the lake is not out giant trash can. We should keep our waters and shorelines clean. I may have started another burner but that is just my opinion. I consider it a privledge to be a sportsman. Allowed to do what I do. Someday I would love to be a guide. I think everyone should get to enjoy the outdoors in some way.
Drop it in front of them and they will eat it!!!

Originally posted by Capt. Guts: I worked for a company in Irving that made plastic jugs. They were about a $1,000.00 each. I bet they didn't sell to well. I keep about 16 jugs in the boat. I couldnt imagine paying $16,000 for a set!
I feel more like I do now than I did when I first got here!
