Sold my offshore center console a few years ago. Looking at picking up an older Wellcraft or Fountain CC and re-fitting it over the next year or so. I can do a lot of the work, but what would it cost to re-finish and paint/gel a 30' CC?

Depending on what you call older but could be as much or more then an older boat is worth Please provide more details as there are some people on here that do that type of work.

Looking 90's 30'+ Fountain offshore CC or Wellcraft Scarab style boat. Can find boats (no power) like these for 10-15k. Most of them are heavily oxidized and badly faded gelcoat. Some have crazy paint colors that I would want to remove and go all white. I can do all the re-wiring, have someone that can do motor and upholstery work and I have the elbow grease. Not sure what exactly it would take to "re-paint" in solid white/white and have a "new" looking boat.
