I hate to order these high dollar pieces without trying them on but..... for those that have the suits, I'm 5'8" @ 175lbs. What size should I order? I like to layer for cold weather so please keep that in mind. thanks

I weigh 178 and have med bibs and a large jacket. The med jacket fit but the arms were to short for me. Hope that helps.

I'm 6 ft 185 lbs and actually went with a Medium Parka and Large Bibs. I usually wear a hoodie sweatshirt under the Parka and its a snug yet comfortable fit.
I almost went with large but the end of the arms got in the way of holding the rod and without a hoodie on it was big.

I would prolly go with a large or possibly an XL in the jacket. They are no problem to send back if you don't like the size. I did that last year. Sent back the large and got an XL in the jacket

Couple words of advice: Buy the uninsulated suit and you will have a four season suit. Buy it a little larger and you can layer clothes under them in the winter. Go the store and try them on...you are right, its too much an investment to not get the right size. And finally: when I went to the store there was a great online sale going on. They matched the online price at the store so not only did I try them on I also left with them. Now I can fish in weather like today...freezing and wet and stay pretty comfortable all day.

Coach,
I think you will be happy with Lg bibs/ Lg jacket. I am your exact measuremnets and it works out great. The bibs are a tad long, but you have the room you need. If you go with a medium, you will notice a discomfort when you bend down to pick something up. The Lg allows for the comfort fit. The Lg jacket allows for several layers underneath. Hope this helps, and FYI - you will love the suit!!!

I'm 5'8 and about 185 and the medium fits fine though I feel the Large will be fine too and give you a bit more wiggle room. Let us know what works out for you.

Doing the right thing by going and trying them on. Look at the windstopper zip-in fleece liner for the parka. You will be toasty regardless of the temps.

DO NOT BUY ONE ONLINE! Take the time to go try one on. I almost made that same mistake but took the time to go to Shreveport to Bass Pro. I ended up buying a totally different size then what I was going to order on line. These are way too expensive to guess. Saves alot of frustration also.
