Hey guys need you to shed a little lite for me. Went out to Texoma and didnt do so great. Wonder if anyone has been out there and could share a little. Tried alot of techniques and locations. Thanks ahead of time!

Cold water, I fish down by the damn mostly, plenty of rip rap to fish with a suspending jerk bait or flutter spoon. Fish your jerk bait slow.

Dropshot and cold water go hand in hand! I would target the dam with 4# flouro and the lightest weight I could throw. A 2" crawworm in a natural color and chartruese spike-it on the claws and legs. A q-tip works well for dying small appendages.

Thanks for the info guys but that is some of the stuff i tried. I even worked trig, slow roll cb, and shakey head.

Things dont always work out!! They are just giving you some ideas. If I were you, I would hit all the off-shore brushpiles. Seems to be a nice pattern out there year round thumb

Yes offshore brishpiles will hold fish during the winter on texoma, I usually do well fishing a shaky head around them very slow

does the dam usually produce in the winter? How about the marinas, do they produce?

Well unfortunately i dont have the experience in knowing where the brush piles are. I guess thats for the season vets on this lake. If you care to share i would appreciate the locations. Thanks! flehan
