2.57 on a watermelon red rattle snake shaky head. Nothin to brag about by any means, but always good to get the first one under the belt for the year!

Mine was a 3lb or so smallmouth on Jan 3. Didn't take a picture.

Four days ago, spent 5 hours on Canyon Lake (the Dead Sea). Ended up boating 7 total, ranging from 2 to 2-/2 lbs. This one was very close to wood, not far from the river channel, water temp was 57 degrees, air temp was 64.

I didn't get a Pic of the first one about 2lbs

but here is the second and 3rd

The first fish was just under 9lb .
23 long 19 in girth and the second was just under 8.

Caught them prefishing a tourney in LA.

After this I cut the hook off my jig. lo

3rd fish from Squaw first two were not picture worthy. 5.5

Caught this guy on New Years Day on my second cast.

My first was yesterday at Tyler State Park. 7 lbs 12 oz on a swimbait.

First fish, first cast 8 lbs at Falcon Lake. Caught over 30 fish in one spot!
