Do any of yall know of any good places that i could go do some banking at Tawakoni? I've never fished there before and would like to go but it's far and dont want to drive all the way down there to just drive around and try to find a place to fish. Any info would be appreciated.

Theres really not a good bank fishing place with the water temperature below 60.Above 60 and anywhere you can get a line in the water works fine. The lake was impounded in 1960 and is packed with all species iof fish. There are creeks feeding the north end of the lake that hold crappie just north of Quinlan on highway 34.But without a good flood, the water is too shallow right now to do any good.

There are plenty of places that drop off around the shore.I have fished that lake all my life and you can PM me if you want any ideas.
