Just wondering if anyone on here actually uses these high dollar baits. And, if so, which lucky craft bait is the most productive on east texas lakes?

This time of the year a pointer can be very effective. I also like rc 1.5s and sammys.

I don't have many lucky craft lipless and cranks but I definitely love their jerk baits. I stock up on staysees for this time of year. Best suspending jerkbait I have ever come across.

Yes sir a lot of folks use them high dollar plugs. Believe it or not. I am one of em. By the way, $15 is not even considered a "high dollar" plug any more.

Ive thrown nothing but lucky craft lvr d7 traps since August and flat wore the paint off and broke all the hooks from the fish. They made huge difference in the water where i have located my fish

Some of the H2O series at Academy are direct knock off's of the LC's... if your looking to save a buck and get a decent bait in the process try those...

Love the RC 1.5's. And yes, I wait until they are on sale.

They flat out catch fish. Some days they won't eat anything but lc.
I like the h2o's too but they arent the same quality as lc.

I'm also a Lucky Craft user, own tons of them. H2O's have a great finish and good hardware, but they're not LC's. This is particularly noticeable on the deep divers and square bills. LC's cast like a bullet where the H's spin and/or tumble on long casts. No comparison in the balance of the two company's baits.
