Thanks guys but all I need is a place to park my pickup with electricity to hook up a small heater and battery charger overnight. Like to have an outhouse close by too. Got a topper on the truck and an air mattress for the back. All set for a weekend @ Palestine if I have these amenities.

Its not bad at all. My 21 yr old daughter and three or four girl friends stay out there every year on a certain weekend and have never had a problem. There is a guy that is always there on a golfcart checking things out.

Try not to boo me, but where would a man and his 2 sons be able to buy minnows at 6:00 am near there? Campground and villages are nearly always closed.

Kind of what I thought. How is the ramp at Palestine Pines?

The owner says good, that he has 6-8 or more folks there every day. If you want minners, the L.P. Campground (used to be M.M. Campground) sells them & I think they open at 7.

Palestine pines ramp sucks. I put in At kilo land this morn and it's better than pal pines. IMO

I can't believe Kilo's ramp is still accessible. It is one steep sucker. I had to quit going to Pines also. I am now using the Villages.
