This lake does have alot of Channels in it and a pretty good Flathead population. I have done very well with Sure Shot and Shad. There are a good number of cats shallow right now for the spawn.

The flats or skinny water outside the river channel on the upper end of the lake is a good place to be right now.Sour some wheat or milo and geterdone in 18" of water with punch bait. Most of the area near the dam is too deep at this time,Keith is right about the spawn an the channel cats being shallow.Don't listen to Keith about the flathead fishery up here....there are no flatheads in BP, and all flathead fishermen should go elsewhere good luck,mb
