I've been to Dallas's Boat Show at Market Hall a number of times and quit going because I've been disappointed in lack of bass boats and dealers they have there. Has anyone been to the boat show in Longview and if so, did you like it? thanks.

Its okay . Skeeter ,Ranger,Phoenix,Champion(Stratos),Nitro,Triton,Basscat,Legend. are the usual people.

I would guess the Longview show would have as many or more bass boats than the Houston show. Back in the day the Houston boat show had lots of bass boats, its wakeboard boats and shrimp slinger boats nowdays. I am going to the houston show this weekend, I hope they have something other than Triton and Ranger.

It has three dealers usually - Plano, Nichol's and last year the Pittsburg Tx dealer- comparing it to Houston's show is like comparing the two towns in size- Fort worth is about the same as Longview and Dallas is almost like Houston's

I believe the Longview one is a RV, Boat, & Outdoor Show combined. I worked it about 3 years ago and it wasn't bad for tackle.

Anybody have any dates for the one in Longview? Thanks.

I beleive its the last weekend of the month so that would put it 28,29,30 i think, but dont hold me to it.

It has gotten terrible, TERRIBLE! The last few had no tackle. Just a few boats, 4 wheelers and campers.

there was no tackle last year it sucks don't wasit your time

Thanks for everyone's input. I went to Houston's last year just because my son lives there and it was going on when we were visiting. It was ok, more boats and stuff for the ocean but lots of tackle booths. I lived in Austin for 11 years and it was ok. I thought it was better than Dallas. I was really disappointed in Dallas's last year.

It's an ok show because of the variety of boats but not so good in regards to quantity. They need to have a boat show not a boat and sport show. Everything gets cramped and there's not enough room for plenty of boats.

In my opinion, the best bass boat show is in Belton.

my thoughts exactly, unfortunately it took me longer to drive from each building then it did to walk through the "show". Unless your looking for a camper I wouldn't waste my money. Why pay to see boats? Just go to the actual dealerships if your interested in seeing them

It's as they said - more RV's than anything and compared to years back -it's gone downhill if you are a boater- very little if any tackle - most of what you see can be seen in a ten minute drive any day in Longview - same old same old
