Can anyone suggest a decent hand help GPS that i can get lake maps on? I have an Android phone and its got the google maps and everything, so maybe there is a good app for it in lieu of a hand held. i'd like something that can show bottom contours as well as mark waypoints.
thanks, T

The problem you will encounter is screen size and being able to see detail especially in a moving boat, with hadhelds. I have a Lowrance H20 C loaded with a map chip. It does show detail but it is so small it makes it really difficult for me.
At least my boat and truck are paid for, woo hoo!

Eagle 480's are on sale at BPS for 250ish. You can get lake maps on those with the card.
