I will be taking my fiance' bass fishin tomorrow but i havent put my boat on the water in over a month so i have no idea where to even start or what the bite has been doing lately. Can anyone share what the latest is on Ol' Hubbard?

Are they deep or shallow?

Thanks y'all, sorry for the bonehead question its the first time I've ever taken her out and I want her to like it. It'd be pretty cool to fish tounaments with her if she does like it.

I was able to get into the river about a month ago. But i don't know about now. I have an 18ft Astro, it runs bout 45. Is the river still on?

Hefishes2:
I would love nothing more than for her to get hooked lol, If i thought she would rather have a new shimano curado than that $400 coach purse, i would be a happy happy man lol! Besides how cool would that be to get to share that hobby together.

I know some people are getting in, it's getting out that is the problem. A few river fanatics are saying that there is between 14"-18" of water right now, so if you had the speed and the right tilt & trim, you might be able to make it. Not as many are getting back there, so the pressure is a lot slower than usual.

if you dont know exactly where to run there are more problems right now with stumps just under the surface, 12 inches of water on the bar is runable but the hardwoods at the power line and the one in center of the sandbar are skeg/lower unit getters.

sincerly a river fanatic.....correction shallow limited access water fanatic.
