lots of crappie. Bass hard to come by but they are there. Go north till you see where the creek enters. There is a 14 ft hole there to the left of the little island as you enter the creek. pvc pipe down there and should be holding crappie right now.

I usually fish the shad schools with a strike king red eye shad or various spinner baits i like to fish the blades fast with jerks to make them look scared

Tip for working spinner baits through shad schools . When fishing lake woodlands i mainly fish shad schools with spinner baits or shad imitating crank baits. my favorite spinner baits to throw are the bass pro shops xps tungston and the strike king sexy shad color burner spinner baits . I fish them fast through jumping shad schools and pop them periodically you don't get as many strikes any where fishing a medium retrieve without pops. There are millions of shad and your spinnerbait has to stick out as injured or scared.
