I have ordered a new HDS8 and a few other things from this company and am having a hard time getting in touch with them to get a tracking number on my (for me) expensive purchase. So i am just checking to see if any of my TFF buddies have any experience with this company.

Oh and i should mention i found them through TFF.

I don't know how you paid but if it was by credit card I would notify the company and tell them you never recieved the merchandise.

Certified letter to their address..it is a registered agent...basically a law firm. From what I can tell they have no physical presence. I thought about buying from them when but when I couldn't find anyfhng about them I decided against it.

they just posted something for sale in the classified section

I would always research first before making a large purchase over the internet....search in the good trade/bad trade link for feedback first to see just what your getting....

Here is the contact info. they list on their website. Notice the spacing in the phone number. Also, notice the city and state are on separate lines. They also list this as as Service Company. I see red flags here.

I will say that he did refund my money promptly. The thing is that it just made me nervous that the address on their website was state-side (Cheyenne, Wyoming) and after the order was placed is when i noticed that they were in New Zealand. I truly have nothing bad top say about Fishfinderking.com, but, i had never made such a large purchase online and probably i was just a little jumpy when i saw the different locations. Thanks again Marty and i'm sorry for all the confusion.

Where do they ship from?

I did some further research and it appears Marty is from New Zealand (based on his phone number) and has registered a LLC in Wisconsin. He appears to be using a New Jersey distributor. He is probably a good guy but I do have some concerns making such a large purchase through a foreign intermediary.

I could be wrong, but I can't see any other reason to have a number such as:

I thought it was a typo and it was really suppose to be 649-527-2239...but it doesn't appear that 649 is an US aera code; however, 64 is the country code for New Zealand.
