In the early 70s there was an alert on mercury contamination in swordfish. People were warned not to eat them. At the time I was hunting with a medical Doctor. He told me,in order to get enough mercury from those fish, for the slightest effect, you would have to eat swordfish three meals a day for 365 straigt days.

I am glad to hear that rjs thanks for the share. I never did believe most of that. Esp. after I have read and heard similar things about Mercury, Arsenic, and other toxins levels common in drinking water and fish. Another knee jerk reaction from environMENTALists trying to make a buck.
I feel more like I do now than I did when I first got here!
