If you can find it. It fell out of my boat at Tawakoni in 4 ft of water this weekend and I STILL couldn't get it back. If I would have had some DD14s or something to drag I might have been able to get back. I'll give you the cords if you wanna try.

Jedi, 4ft of water, your atleast 6ft tall. why didnt you just get and find it with your feet? Water couldnt have been that cold

I was cold and tired--plus just had my head up my butt--threw out the anchor and didnt realize the rope had tangled up in the reel handle--popped right out of the holder. Bummer

It's not that cold, I've done river crossings that were chest high during the winter. As long as you're not in it for more that a few minutes at a time and can keep your core temp up, you'd be fine. the trick is not to wear clothes that soak up water, or just go commando.

That is what I thought...but then I looked around and I was on the water catching fish, peace and quiet and my interest in the lost reel went away. but yeah still sucks.
