Has anyone been on Lake Worth lately. Need to try structure scan out and if there might well try fishing there.

There was a small tournament out there the weekend of Christmas, I think 11 lbs won it.

get out there off the end of the runway and do some scanning, there is supposedly a B-17 sunk out there. post up some screen shots if you find it!

wish i would known that I will check out next trip for sure. fishing was tough but manage to boat few small one.

wonder if it is still contaminated to the point that you can't eat anything out of that lake. I know a few years back when we fished it thats what everyone said.

There is a consumption advisory on the lake, if you do enough searching there is a document out there that states how many pounds of fish per week a person can consume without risk of contamination. If I was looking to catch some crappie for a fish fry once every few months I wouldnt think twice about harvesting from the mainlake on Worth. For eating fish more frequently I'd harvest my fish from the river. Just my personal preference, we see plenty of people year round harvesting limits of crappie and big stringers of catfish from the main lake.
